One favorite destination is <a href=\"\/\/parks.state.wa.us\/567\/Posey-Island\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Posey Island<\/a>, a one-acre marine state park located north of Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. Its name changed when residents told the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey crew mapping the area they picked bouquets of flowers and called it Posey Island. It can also be a brief sentiment, motto, or legend. An example is the nursery rhyme, folk song, and playground singing game \u201cRing Around the Rosie.\u201d This common American version is said to describe the Great Plague of London in the middle 17<sup>th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Ring Around the Rosie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Ring-a-round the rosie,<br \/>\nA pocket full of posies,<br \/>\nAshes! This means its two primitive campsites (8 people each) are for the exclusive use of visitors arriving in human-powered or sailing watercraft.
